Responsivity on Android App test

Test Description

This test will verify that the app design adapts seamlessly across various screen sizes and resolutions on Android devices.

Test Execution

Manual

Objective

To ensure that the app layout, menus, and interactive elements are fully responsive and user-friendly on Android devices with different screen dimensions.

Test Environment

Android Device (5.0+) or Virtual Android Device
Tested Devices:

  1. Pixel 5 Android 15
  2. Pixel 9 Pro Fold Android 15
  3. Pixel Tablet Android 15

Dependencies

  • GODOT 4.3 runtime
  • Android testing devices with different screen sizes (e.g., smartphone and tablet)
  • Stable version of the app installed

Preconditions

  • App must be installed on the Android testing devices.
  • All backend services must be operational for complete functionality.
  • Devices should be charged and ready for testing.

Post-conditions

  • The app should retain its usability and readability across all tested screen sizes.
  • Observations should be recorded for any layout or usability issues encountered.

Test Data

  • The latest binaries of the game. In our case it is commit fe556b9
