Oracle connection timeout

Issue

The Oracle connection keeps timing out when running models over multiple species, or when code leading up to extraction of design-based indices takes a while to run.

The Ask

Does anyone know if/how we can keep the connection open longer?

Hey @Lewis-Barnett-NOAA,

I noticed this was happening with my VM (200) but I thought it was just a finicky VM thing. Is this issue happening on VM200 and if so, is it also happening on your machine?

On my laptop as well. Maybe it isn't something we can change, but it is frustrating when looping through species and it errors out.
