how to change background of a custom page

I like the paper mod theme. when you open a article the background changes from a white shade to total white. this if fine but I want to create a new special page like the archive/search/tag page that keeps the dark shade. this is the code of the newspaper.html file

I cant seem to get the body to apply the same .list styles that are added to the other bodys of the other standar pages

I solved it i just had to add the page to the baseoff.html
