Unable to run in iTunes 12.1 on OS X 10.10.2:

error "System Events got an error: Can’t get splitter group 1 of splitter group 1 of window 1 of application process "iTunes". Invalid index." number -1719 from splitter group 1 of splitter group 1 of window 1 of application process "iTunes"

It will get to the iBooks app on the App Store, but stops there.

I seem to get the same error message. I believe it has something to do with the new App Store. Did you every find a solution? If I knew AppleScript I would take a whack at it, but I don't.

Check this fork: https://github.com/ChickenBeard/Apple-ID-Creator-Plus
Seems to work on 10.10.3 and iTunes 12.1.x

@wks100 There are commented country and provence codes that you would need to change to support other areas from USA.

I have been running this script for some time now. How many times have you tried the script? Are you consistently getting this error? Make sure no Apple ID's are logged into iTunes when you start. Also, iBooks will need to be available in the App Store for your location.

@jafuller is there a way to add more countries?

@omerninyo I would think so. I haven't had to do so myself. You would need the Country Codes that iTunes uses to make sure they match up. We're transitioning to Device Based VPP and won't need to manage Apple IDs any longer. It's a cumbersome process that we're hoping to remove from our provisioning work.
