Pass variable arguments to lookup plugins

The old passwordstore lookup plugin supports passing in space separated arguments as part of the lookup key - which allows easily configuring those values in variables.

The modern standardised lookup syntax does not seem to account for passing in a variable containing multiple keys, which makes default arguments with variable length problematic. This is a problem for properly supporting multiple credential lookup backends.
