To download free ebooks you can use libgen servers like libgen.io or libgen.is. Only some of them are working for a while so you might need to choose different server.
How to get best use of ebook? Some people like me are comfortable in reading epub instead of pdf. When I ask people how they like reading the book they simply reply ebook, but more specific would be epub or pdf or any other version.
I personally like epub:
- search for the book in libgen
- look for the epub extension
- donwload it and upload it on the google play books
- now you can read it across multiple devices.
