Can you please add a license for this theme.

The original theme that you forked it from is released under the MIT license. Would you be all right with releasing this version under the same license (or any other open source license you prefer).

For a theme to be included in the Open VSX collection (for VSCodium – #6), the extension must be released under an open source license.

FYI any other license, including proprietary, is ok too as long as it does not require users to pay anything. But of course a standard open source license is the best choice :-)

Actually I think the missing license may be even a license breach, because the README states that this is a work based on https://github.com/pathtrk/ariake-dark-syntax - which is MIT licensed.
@spoenemann Could this be included as a "patch" (both the file and the entry in package.json) in the CI build?

You mean in the https://github.com/open-vsx/publish-extensions repository? Yes, you can add pre-publish shell scripts there.
