Hi,
We built the wallet more on the "educated user" type of philosophy. you can type 0 as the password if you want, but its up to you to know what a secure password is.

I will leave the issue open though as it would be interesting to hear the opinions of others on the issue

More people suggested and I've added it here.
It's up to each individual to set up a password as they want... More or less safe.
Just a feature for better security option.
