Wonderful work. The new RP2350 got me thinking, would it be possible to make DisplayPort over a USB C connector work instead of using the HDMI connector? USB C can support DP Alt mode and one of the configurations is to send display data from a connected device (a phone or tablet) to the host. So, the host becomes a DisplayPort sink. I am thinking of the third illustration on page 18 of this DP slide deck: https://vesa.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/USB-DevDays-2019-VESA-DP-Alt-Mode-over-USB-Type-C.pdf
