Would be great if other packing domains than cuboids would be possible. I would need a spherical domain as boundary for packing. Would not introduce much overhead for inside/outside detection, so should be fairly straightforward to implement?

it shall not be hard to implement indeed. I am currently not planning to implement them, but if you find time for doing this i would be grateful.
