When you change to a video resolution, there is a 7 second timer where if you do nothing, it will change back to the working resolution you had before. With this issue, if you let the 7 seconds elapse, it does not actually change back. It stays at the resolution and you have to manually select the resolution to change to. Defeats the purpose of a failsafe timer.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Change to a different video resolution in gaming mode video settings.
Watch timer elapse and not change back to the original resolution.
