Official Steam Deck Dock stops charging or HDMI stops detecting monitor

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Official Steam Deck Dock stops charging

Steps for reproducing this issue:

Initial actions:
Steamdeck fully charged (Green light on)
Docked (USB C plugged into deck, and power supply plugged in to provided 45W supply)
Leave the dock charging for an hour or two (green light still on)

Action:
Pressed the power button to turn on the screen while docked

After Actions:
Steam deck green light turns off, nor does it show white and is discharging
I turn off the steam deck with the power button and turn it back on, and it doesn't draw power from the dock
HDMI is not not detected

I unplug the steam deck from the dock and plug it in again, it shows the green light, or white light for indicating it is charging
If i unplug the hdmi and plug it back in again, then it seems to also trigger the green light on the dock.

The problem that is happening is that even if it turns off, in order to protect the battery, i can run the battery down and charging does not kick in since it is still plugged into the power, only if i unplug and plug it back in.

If I plug the dock in directly into the charger, not passing through the dock, then this doesn't happen.

I have requested a new dock and it was replaced, but the issue persists. I have formatted the steam deck dock.

I have also tried this with the SteamOS Stable version, and even reimaged my Steam Deck. The problem has not solved itself.
