On the dataset edit page, the curator can upload a file of some (arbitrary?) size
This file should be accessible only to the cluster
A url leading to the uploaded file's location is added to the extract steps
Why
50% or more of datasets added to the current instance of the OS are uploaded by the curator from their local machine. (Downloaded via a form, sent to them in an email, etc) This is currently handled by an arbitrary file share solution such as Amazon S3. Curators should be able to handle this common task entirely within the OS using the Andi interface.
Notes
Andi already provides similar functionality for public data submissions, though only for sample data
