It needs to be renamed to "gba_bios.bin" and put in "emus/gpsp(_rumble)/". You'll find a working one already bundled with gpsp_rumble on the system. |

Gpsp rumble does launch for me and runs, but appears to be using the
normatt bios rather than an official one. With RetroArch on the v90 i can
get it to boot into whichever of the 2 I prefer. My original question was
around whether the standalone is capable of booting into an official bios,
and if i had it configured correctly. My understanding is that the official
one may offer slightly different compatibility.

Hold on, you're using the bundled "gpsp_rumble", and you've tried the
bundled "gba_bios.bin" that came with it, and gpSP still doesn't launch for
you? 😮
That should definitely not be happening. 🤔 The bundled configuration
works.

Can anyone confirm/deny whether or not the standalone gpsp is correctly finding/using the bios file if one is placed? I see the Normatt bios screen on the standalone, but the standard one in the retroarch core. I've placed copies in all the places that I've read they should be.
