(mainboot has a handful of precompiled binaries that it assembles together into an sdcard image. I can swap out the kernel and GmenuNX with binaries I built from source and it still works. But if I swap out u-boot, I don't get any video.) |

Got it working! I think I'm spent for tonight, but I put up a couple of PRs for u-boot, and I'll start working on a nightly build of everything sometime soon. |

Yes, the ones I've tracked down and fixed up so far are featured on my GitHub profile for the community here (since I primarily use my GitHub account for Miyoo development): https://github.com/Rezzy-dev The situation with emulator sources is similar to that of the rest of the CFW components. Some of the emulator source codes are current and up-to-date, such as PokeMini and Handy, and others are a (small) step backwards/different in terms of progress/development, but stable and a good foundation to work from now: FCEUX, OhBoy, and Picodrive. I've consolidated their controls/UI a bit, and fixed the A-B default button switch problem (left over from the BittBoy) in all of them. FCEUX has a different emulation process/priority to the currently bundled build. The current build prioritises video refresh rare at the cost of audio sync (resulting in smooth video but stuttering audio on bad launches), while the source code prioritises audio and video sync (so some visual drop in framerate can be noticed on bad launches, but the audio and video stay in sync). |

Personally, if I had to choose one among the ones I have suggested, (although I liked the ones you have put with reference to Star Trek xD) I would choose: Miyoo CFW EVO It indicates a change, it is compact and I think it is attractive to promote the new system, but it is only a suggestion, you are showing very imaginative and powerful names 😮 |

I would choose New Hope because it is a pun on the former CFW name (NxHope). Other options are nice as well and to be honest I like them all. |

Due the next CFW release is taking more time than the expected due many changes on the system stuff, in the meantime we are looking for a surname to add to the main CFW name:
Miyoo CFW <Surname> <Version>
Something like:
Miyoo CFW Reborn 2.0
So, feel free to suggest names or vote for one on the list.
Note: The "2.0" version is just an example.
The main reason behind this is because the 1.3.3 and previous releases were a mess, had mixed system files and is nearnly unmaintainable... so we are fixing and rearrange many stuff to have more stable releases in the future taking this one as a base.
