Create support for ROS2 #14
Comments
Has it been migrated yet? Would love to make use of this. |
@abubake Thanks for your interest in this project. The migration has been delayed until this summer, I got my hands full with a new job by the end of the year. Thankfully, due to the nature of it, I would have an opportunity to revisit this later (May-June). If you have an opportunity to test it out in newer (or older) cameras, I would highly appreciated it. If you are interested, I can ping you back in this issue. Also, I learned a few more tricks to have fine control over the parameters for livestreaming through ROS2, so hopefully that might help you all. Please, feel free to add more suggestions if any. |
Hello @TOTON95 Are you developing to support new Gopros versions (10 and above) for ROS2? |
@dregner I would consider it if testers want to help with their cameras because I only have the GoPro 5 Black. As an update, there's a bit of progress on this project every month, but I haven't released a branch with it yet. I will check if I have the necessary at the end of November. I worked mostly on improving streaming capabilities with things I've learned lately. |
This driver is scheduled to be migrated no later than the end of the year. πβ
