Change the recommendation #269
Comments
I enquired about this problem and received this email: Guten Tag Herr Liu Bei Meldungen über die SwissCovid-App werden die betroffenen Personen aufgefordert, sich beim kantonsärztlichen Dienst ihres Wohnkantons zu melden. Freundliche Grüsse Anne Tschudin Leiterin Kommunikation
|
You received this advice from your local cantonal authority it seems. My initial comment was about the in-app direction given to the user. As far as I know, the direction is still to contact the BAG hotline. |
Thanks. "Bei Meldungen über die SwissCovid-App werden die betroffenen Personen aufgefordert" ... bin davon ausgegangen, dass das bedeutet, von der App aufgefordert. |
This issue concerns the process of the health care system in Switzerland, which is part of a discussion by BAG and cantonal authorities. Please share your feedback and suggestions directly with them. |
It is becoming clearer and clearer that the recommendation received upon notification is not the right one, at least in some cantons. Instead of notifying users to contact the BAG hotline, users should be informed to contact the cantonal contact tracers, or at least given in some cases directions to shortcut the BAG hotline.
This in fact already seems to be the hotline recommendation, and is starting to be the recommendation on Twitter as well.
All in all it would fit the idea that the "interventional" part of public health should be addressed more locally, which - as far as I understand it - seems to be a pretty universal recommendation by experts.
