Usually you can't connect to your local server if it was crashed during startup. In this case you have to check server log and if it isn't clear why it fails then, please, create an issue on GitHub with the server log and the client log attached.
You can find more details how to get logs here.
Reported in https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/EcoIssues/issues/15252
- You have a router.
- You disconnected from the server after 5-20 seconds.
- Try to connect directly without the router. If you able to connect without the router then you probably have this issue.
- If you don't have a router or direct connect doesn't help then probably same thing happens for your provider. Try to contact the provider for troubleshooting.
- Try to manually reboot the router.
- You can't connect only to specific server(s) with remote IP address (you can ask admin for this info).
- Check https://eais.rkn.gov.ru/ for a server IP address (you can find it in Player.log).
- Try to connect with VPN.
- You can use VPN.
- You can ask the admin to move the server to another IP address (or try to solve it with RosKomNadzor).
Please create an issue on GitHub with following information:
- Server connection information (Name/ID/IP:Port)
- Way how you do connect to it (Continue/Server browser list/Recent/Favorite/Direct connect)
- Do you have problem with specific server or it happens to every server?
- Do you know if other users of this server experiences same issue?
- Attach your client log file
- Which kind of connection are you using? (LAN, WI-FI, Mobile Internet etc)
- (Advanced) Do you have external IP and does server has external IP address?
