need two key pieces of data:

  • Stock (Supply): This is the current total supply of Bitcoin in circulation. It represents the total amount of Bitcoin that has been mined and is available in the market.
  • Flow (Annual Production): This is the amount of new Bitcoin mined annually. It represents the annual supply of new Bitcoin added to the circulating supply.

Could get the supply from coinmetrics and save it: https://community-api.coinmetrics.io/v4/timeseries/asset-metrics?assets=btc&frequency=1d&metrics=PriceUSD%2CSplyCur
