"Vinyl" vs "Records & LPs"

Can someone explain the difference between:
Media > Music & Sound Recordings > Records & LPs
Media > Music & Sound Recordings > Vinyl

I see that "Records & LPs" is mapped to Google's more specific "Media > Music & Sound Recordings > Records & LPs" while "Vinyl" maps to Google's "Media > Music & Sound Recordings".

If it is redundant, perhaps keep "Vinyl" but update it's mapping to the more specific Google category.
