The foundation package is a pure CDS reuse model providing common types, like Currency and Unit of Measure, which are frequently used in business applications.
For details about CDS modeling, check the following documentation.
This package is only an example and not intended for productive use. Its consumption is shown by the business application samples Product Catalog and ITelO Catalog.
Since the foundation package is a pure CDS reuse model there are no prerequisites.
