Another tool called scc provides scc binary.

It would be better to leave such comments on the AUR page directly in the future, I am not subscribed here and only ran into it by chance.

I am not exactly sure what the correct approach here would be, scc provides a bunch of scc-* commands, so renaming one of then to something like sc-controller-ctl would be a bit odd.

I don't suppose boyter/scc would want to rename scc to something else, and it would probably make more sense for us to rename it.

That said, boyter/scc is just in AUR, not even in official repos.

I've at least added a conflict with scc.
