Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Not really a problem, an idea for improvement fit along GW2's handling of QA notifications.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to be able to better control QA notifications. call PushNotification() and PopNotification() to increase/decrease number displayed in red marker (gw2 supports 1-9, later it becomes !, nexus only does !). Also, I wouldn't like for the notifications to go away after clicking the button - similarly to BLTC, notifications only disappear after you pick up the items, not earlier.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Maybe it would also be cool (although not at all consistent with game's UI) to have different types of notifications: eg. BLTC icon glows bright when there are new featured items, email icon flashes when new one arrives, but maybe some other colored marks (question mark, exclamation mark etc) could be useful.
