Currently, only the users who know the link to develop website can view the website. It should be made easier for any user who installed the package with devtools::install_github("2DegreesInvesting/r2dii.plot") to see the corresponding website.
I propose to add two links to the 'Links' section of the website with CRAN and dev versions of the website and also reference them at the end of the 'Installation' section of README:
Personally, I wouldn't advocate for publicly advertising the development version of the (package, website, etc.). The development version of the package is a sort of "use at your own risk" version, and I think a small barrier to accessing it (including the documentation/ website), isn't the worst thing in the world.
Which users do you have in mind that would want to frequently be looking at the dev website?
@jdhoffa myself 😆 as I never remember the address. But also our internal users. You might be right, though, maybe it is an overkill and I should just remember the link.
