Summary

The main RITlug chat (#rit-lug-teleirc on Freenode, #teleirc on Slack) needs a new Telegram bot API token managed by a current member of eboard

Background

I set up the #rit-lug-teleirc TeleIRC bot on my personal Telegram account. Now I have registered too many Telegram bots to register more, and I need bots for other things. So, I would like an eboard member (who also might not be a TeleIRC developer) to register the Telegram bot for the bridge.

Details

An eboard member needs to register a new bot per TeleIRC instructions and then securely share them with a member of the TeleIRC team. The team can swap out the API tokens for a quick and seamless upgrade.

Outcome

Telegram bot API token is registered by an eboard member who has a lower risk of hitting the Telegram bot registration limit
