@HumphreyYang I found that if we just add a package

\usepackage[UTF8]{ctex}

then it will work. So I will add this to https://github.com/executablebooks/sphinx-jupyterbook-latex

Can someone take a Quick Look at:

quantecon-python-intro.pdf

and let me know if the ctex is working the way you would expect with the Chinese typesetting?

Looking good to me except latex primitives are not translated (i.e., chapter).
