Make certain driving conditions easier by governing the top speed. Threshold of the trigger, or map position between the max? Set the limit by the D-pad?

Are you using a joystick for throttle? Consider the right trigger? Configurable?

Currently using the triggers: right for forward and left for reverse. Configurable key mapping would be neat, though perhaps too complex for a simple project? 🤔
