See volumio/Volumio2#1663

After updating to 2.502, volumio no longer will start. It requires manual npm commands to fix the install. This is using the justboom player image.

However, when updating stock volumio to 2.502, the service starts fine. Something in the justboom image seems to conflict with 2.502.

All my justbooms (I have 3) became inaccessible after updating.

@adipose have you notified volumio?

Well, no, because as I said, the volumio image doesn't have this issue--only the justboom distributed volumio image.

Probably still worth letting them know

Can you post an updated Justplayer distro using the latest version of Volumio 2.777. Your distro will not update becuase Volumio won't update if there are any user changes?? There is no way around this?? There has to be a better way?

@ctbarker32 Updated JustBoom Player to 2.779 file is here https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VQiAoHq-NgM98jlKtzZSfj1Phb1m2ivU

For the time being I have disabled updates until I can find a solution to the issue that causes it to break.

@ctbarker32 Does the Merus AMP work in Raspbian? Thats always the test for me when it doesn't work with other OS systems. There is an overlay for it so it should work unless there is an underlying hardware issue dtoverlay=merus-amp
