@TheNamesGregoryAndounuts

Hi there! I want to try my hand at casting a PUG on the community server but the wiki doesn't list a clear order of operations for getting the mod setup and congfiuring it to my liking. Do you think you could walk me through this or alterntively add a getting started guide to the wiki?

Bit late, but to start:

  1. Download the latest .zip build from this fork from dalegaard
  2. Extract the contents of that .zip (CastingEssentialsRed-master) to your /tf/custom folder
  3. Add the launch option -insecure to your TF2 properties in Steam and start the game
  4. By default all modules for casting enhancements are disabled so you need to make your own config to enable settings
    • You can create a file called castingessentials.cfg in /tf/cfg or /tf/custom/CastingEssentialsRed-master/cfg
    • This file will automatically execute when CastingEssentials is loaded at game launch, where you should put your preferred settings
  5. The wiki on this repo is still the most up to date with info for all included modules for camera tweaks and hud changes you can make.
