The US military has Basic Allowance for Housing charts which are updated annually. Would Universal Basic Allowance use something like that? The reason the US military uses it is because it costs more money to live in some places than others. For example, New York City might be a more expensive place to live in than 95% of the USA.

Hi @nathanielstenzel, all of the UBI proposals I've seen have everyone receiving the same amount regardless of where they live and local cost of living.
