Being able to hide elements by type is nice, but it would be great to have a finer control in the matter. What I have in mind is being able to expand and unexpand "Kind", "Sub Kind", etc. in the same way "All" and "Class" can be expanded and unexpanded, to show all the elements that are of the given stereotype, and allow for hiding and showing them individually.
