Hello,
I'm having a problem where i export a cubic chunks worldpainter world.
When i exported the world and join the world it seems that cubic chunks has already populated the landscape: think about trees, dirt patches, water pools etc. (minecraft trees, not trees from a custom worldpainter brush)
How do i stop this from happening?
Thank you in advance,
Yari

In the export screen on the "other layers" tab, there is a checkbox "Allow Minecraft to populate the entire terrain". Uncheck this if you don't want vanilla trees, ores, water pools, etc.

This does not work. You can't interact with the "Allow minecraft to populate the entire terrain" option wich is unchecked by default.

That's true and I'm having the same problem.
There are even tiny caves, lava pools and also ores being spawned even though I set everything to 0 and unchecked any option for such things.
Here are screenshots of each export settings window.

Export world from WorldPainter and set it aside. Don't load it up in Singleplayer. Create a server and in server.properties, turn off mob spawning and set level-type to flat. Replace the previously generated world with the WorldPainter world and join. It shouldn't generate and animals shouldn't spawn, although from my experiences, you may see water pools appear on the surface and underground once and a while. If the map is small enough, generate it by loading the chunks manually, or you can use a mod or plugin to pregenerate the chunks.

Or you can go into NBTExplorer and delete all the generatorOptions
