Did not recognize note type Basic in file

Hello, I just installed the plugin and the basic example doesn't work.

I got the error Did not recognise note type Basic in file.
On the other hand, it successfully creates decks and with the regexes it works.

I had the same problem, the reason was that there was no Note Type with the name Basic in Anki.

Fix

• Change Anki to English
• Go to Tools -> Manage Note Types
• Add, select the first element Add: Basic
• If you prefer a different UI language in Anki you can now switch back, the Note Type will remain.

Steps in Obsidian

• To make it work properly for me, I cleaned up a bit in Obsidian
• Go to the Obsidian_to_Anki settings
• Scroll Down to the Actions
  • Clear File Hash Cache
  • Clear Media Cache
  • Regenerate Note Type Table
