This board seems to work fine except for an issue with the shift registers. When running a hyperflush sequence, valves 7 and 8 activate at the same time, and then skips to valve 9. Finally, at the end, the pump runs as if it is trying to pump but no valve opens.
To me this indicates that somehow valves 7 and 8 are being triggered as the same valve and that all the following valves have shifted down by one, leaving one phantom valve at the end.
I am not sure how to solve this issue.

This second board has a similar issue, however, it skips valve 0, and then once it gets to the second half of the sampler, seems to do two valves at a time, but does not skip valves? (IE overlapping sets of 2 valves open at the same time). Probably a TPIC chip issue. The board had a piece of tape that said "010" on it previously, this is probably related to the TPIC issues.
