For fair comparisons (especially internet connection type-specific results) against a baseline, it might be nice to have a set of benchmarks that exist to calibrate a particular run on a particular day

For internet speeds in particular, https://github.com/sivel/speedtest-cli might help a lot for assessing streaming speeds (though granted, the upload/download targets here are not specific to the us-east-2 AWS region most of our DANDI speeds target, but it's something...)
