First time caller here. This seems like a neat project but I don't really know where to start or what sort of end goals I should have for what I make. I'm completely unknowledgeable as to the kind of "semantic synthesis" I would imagine a project like this requires. Any guidance would be appreciated.

NaNoGenMo can be tackled from so many different angles, there's no "one way" to do things.

I suggest having a browse through previous years' completed entries and see if anything inspires you:

One idea is to take find something interesting, and try and remix it or reimplement it your own way, and see what results you get.
