I have a waveshare jetbot. I am using the lattest download image on the waveshare jetbot wiki and I am using the intel wifi module for the jetbot. The power mode I am using is 10W with fan.

The issue I am having is when I select the jupyter telepresence notebook and open the camera video widget the video starts out with about 500msec of latency and then quickly slows down to >16 seconds. This is basically just turning the camera stream on and viewing the video. I have read about low latency issues with the camera stream and issuing basic commands to the robot with the more AI related notebooks but not with the simple telepresence notebook. Because of this issue, the robot is useless. Even the game controller delay is a couple of seconds or more. The jetson nano should be able to stream video at @30 fps in the telepresence notebook. I am no fan of jupyter notebooks and I think they are responible partly for these lag times. What is strange is that in the telepresence mode why would the video stream be very low latency and after about 30 seconds go to 16 seconds or greater? Again I can understand the longer lag times when working with the more sophisticated notebooks but not the telepresence notebook.
Any thoughts on this are much appreciated.
