"Data Quality": "The administrative shape files in this database are collected from Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS). Besides, the main source of information on soils and landforms are the reconnaissance soil survey reports published by the Soil Resources Development Institute (SRDI). \nSRDI created this survey data at 1: 50,000 scale by free hand digitization from Survey of Bangladesh’s Arial Photo map (spatial resolution of Arial Photo is 50 cm) height. Later they verified this data in the field. This process is followed to create soil polygon data. On the other hand, soil sample points data (soil chemical and physical properties data added as attributes to this point) are collected by using handheld GPS with an accuracy of (+-) 5 m. \nLater, BARC created GIS data from this upazila wise soil map of SRDI and matches upazila’s edges for whole country. Thus, this soil related GIS data is created through adding locational intelligence to it by BARC. BARC also performed spatial analysis on this spatially corrected data to create crop suitability maps. ",

"Objectives": "Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) or Metrorail is a state-of-the-art public transport system capable of transporting more passengers together by rail for metropolitan and adjoining areas. MRT or Metrorail is a long-distance, safe, reliable, air-conditioned, time-efficient, electric and eco-friendly public transport consisting of elevated or underground or a combination of elevated and underground. Metrorail will play a major role in reducing traffic congestion in the densely populated metropolis, Dhaka. Metrorail stations are located at a distance of less than one kilometer, so the public can walk to the metro station within 500 (five hundred) meters of the station.\nThe government intends to build a strong network of 6 (six) metrorail lines in Dhaka metropolis and adjoining areas with a total length of 127.641 km (elevated 8.569 km and underground 61.162 km), 104 stations (elevated 51 and underground 53) and adopted a time bound action plan 2030.",
"Extent of the data": "Six Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) or Metro Rail routes covering the distance of 127.641 Kilometers having 104 Stations in Dhaka city and its adjoining areas. However, as of 2021, the metro rail system of Dhaka consists of one line referred to as the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) Line-6, with other metro rail lines going to be added in the future.",
