Although the documentation in builds/README.md is clear, I believe other users would benefit from a more comprehensive explanation on the instructions to compile the model and in the description of the directory tree. In case you agree, I can modify the documentation on builds/README.md in my fork and push it to a NOAA-GFDL/CEFI-regional-MOM6 branch .

Bringing config_src updates from esmg (NOAA-GFDL#2)
