RT Section:
RT Section should potentially be pulled out as it's own quick chapter. This would be all of Section 9.1 (9.1.1 - 9.1.4). I think this would clean up the chapter a little bit.

  • Section 9.1.1 - Update RT images with what the current layout is. Adjust numbers as necessary
  • Section 9.1.2 - Same as above
  • Section 9.1.3 - Same as above
  • Section 9.1.4 - Include point about changing status from "New" to "Open"
    • Maybe provide a gif or short screen recording of this workflow available in a callout or drop down or something. Basically; hide it until someone wants to see it.

Categorize Datasets

  • Edit section to say:

As a final step we will categorize the dataset you processed. We are trying to categorize datasets so we can have a rough idea of what kinds of datasets we have at the Arctic Data Center.

Datasets will be categorized using the Academic Ontology. These will be seen at the top of the dataset, and can be thought of as "themes" for the dataset. In reality, they are dataset-level annotations.

Be sure to ask your peers in the datateam slack channel whether they agree with the themes you think best fit your dataset. Once there is consensus, run the following line of code: doc <- datamgmt::eml_categorize_dataset(doc, c("list", "of", "themes"))

Congrats Section:

  • Section 9.7 - Update paragraph to tell interns and future Data Coordinators to push their scripts to the arctic-data repository, and then send in the datateam slack channel ask for a peer review of their data set.
    • In slack message, include link to the data set, and the associated ticket
