Mod doesn't work on 1.19.4 despite the info on the website saying that it should #260

The Mod version v1.4.0 is supposed to work on minecraft version 1.19.4 according to the version information on the Modrinth website, But the game crashes on the loading screen and gives an error saying that the mod file is for older versions. Why is this happening? And why is it showing on the website that the mod will work on version 1.19.4 despite the file being outdated?
