The problem:

I am trying to set a KCD game instance. I got the Full game on EPic Store, and the MO2 does not seem to recognise the game as viable.
I have launched the game too.
Image

To Reproduce:

Select the KCD option when creating an instance with the Epic Games version of the game.

Environment:

  • Mod Organizer Version that exhibits the issue: 2.5.2
  • Last Mod Organizer Version that did not exhibit the issue (if applicable):
  • Desktop OS/version used to run Mod Organizer: Win11

Details:

Epic Game set up things so the .exe is located in C:\Games\KingdomComeDeliverance\bin\Win64MasterMasterEpicPGO
and not in C:\Games\KingdomComeDeliverance

MO2 is looking for bin/Win64/KingdomCome.exe, I guess you have a "new" variant of the game where the name of the intermediate folder was changed.

You could fix this locally by changing Win64 to Win64MasterMasterEpicPGO in plugins/basic_games/games/game_kingdomcomedeliverance.py.

Hum....
I changed the path name, but I still get this error

Edit: Ok, I managed to have it recognize the game. I had to restart MO2.

The problem I am having now is that MO2 is not recognizing the mods file structure. They are the same as I used to install when I used vortex. I even tried to download a newer mod, but I got the same error. How is this file structure wrong?
Maybe is the same problem as before, and the new EpicGames file structure is messing things?

It is not that the file structure is wrong but that MO2 cannot check it, "Cannot check the content of .". It means that a checker for KD has not been implemented. If you know what you are doing, you can simply go ahead and accept the structure.
