Back swipe on iOS escapes to home screen instead of previous page #2092

Starting from version 8, iOS back swipe escapes to home screen instead of previous page when there are 2 or more layers of nested routes. If this is a common issue, I'll provide more details.

These might be related #2088 #1941

@jogboms #2088 is about button display. Seems like #1941 fixes the issue, but it is unmerged. The related issue #1932 was closed, but the problem is present in the current version.
