Sound stops working (AUDCLNT_E_DEVICE_IN_USE), Windows 10

Strange issue, the sound stops working (video players, other browsers etc.) on my Windows 10 when I launch Automatic1111 with controlnet extension enabled
Once I turn controlnet extension off everything works ok again
The error is AUDCLNT_E_DEVICE_IN_USE which means controlnet takes all the sound or something. Why this happens and why controlnet might need sound at all - no idea.
But the problem exists, hope someone can give a hint of how to fix?
