How to mention them in the CV somehow? I was told earlier tonight that I had good commentary and had kind of predicted shortcomings that manifested half an year later with Matrix Mjolnir not handling being kind of DDoSed and I also described a lot on how IRC abuse management works and how it doesn't translate to Matrix or federated networks.

It was also explicitly said that I should mention in my CV how having the ability/skills, but I hsve no idea how.

Links related to this would be www.aminda.eu/blog (Element, Matrix moderation), gist's Matrix directory, PPFI IM repo, they show at least a bit, while a lot of my knowledge is invisible and missing the words to show it to the world

I have previously been told that I understand access control. Is that related to this?

Learned skills are showed in a specific section in the curriculum.

You have two ways to do this:

  • Specific section:

  • As part of other section:

PD: First and last pictures are from EuroPass and I think that the second option would fit more for your case.

To add some context:

You could have a current IT Skills section in your curriculum with several points.

Under a point of the specific platform you touched (IRC is one), you can add examples of these skills.

It could make your curriculum a bit bigger than usual, so you can use abbreviations for the case.

That would be if you don't consider the option of a specific personal training section like studies and you explain that in the way I referenced in the previous comment.

What are the exact skills I should list as bullet points? And what kind of examples do you mean?

Basically, I am telling you to reorganize this section using technology topics as description for every first bullet point.

Then, inside it, include your experience wrapped by some kind of start like "Servers, General management", to include an enumerated list of what you touched there.

I think this way is even more organized than the one I proposed before, to which the general bullet points would reference the kind of topic more than the technology touched, leading to a bigger list.
