I'm sure it has at least come up despite very limited use, is it possible to bring e-reader support to this project in a way that makes sense to the dev team?

One would need to figure out how to trick the e-reader rom into using data directly written from a hypothetical HPS/OSD e-reader card selection menu, written into SDRam/DDRRam.

Anyone who is interested in that can work on it.

I will not(sorry), as i think it's a lot of work and i don't think it's worth it:

  • All the gamecube connect stuff obviously is useless, as we don't have a gamecube core(and there will be none soon)
  • NES emulation cards are pointless
  • lot of stuff is japanese only
  • Only a few "game and watch" titles may be worth something

There’s a massive amount of levels in Super Mario Advance 4 locked behind e-reader cards. But the Virtual Console version rom should possibly have them unlocked by default.
