App creating duplicate rows of data

We've had a couple of reports from different users where the app is making duplicate rows of identical data in some projects. We have not been able to identify a direct cause of the issue but it appears that it might occur in situations where there is either a poor connection or the connection to our server may be slow due to the geographic location of the user (we do not know if this is the actual cause of the problem). The duplicate data also occurs in situations where unique constraints are in place and/or a uuid() has been set as the default value so it is likely the duplicates are being created some time after the features have been saved. The duplicate rows are also not sequential, also supporting the idea that they are not duplicated at the moment the feature is created.

We do have some user device logs and cloned projects where this has happened so please reach out if this information would be useful.
