Log:

https://pastebin.com/qSX28W8d

Versions and technical info:

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Curseforge
  • Lost Cities 7.3.5
    • I'm using a cosmetic add-on for Lost Cities called "Keerdm's Zombie Apocalypse Essentials"
  • This has happened both with regular settings and "Rare Cities" variant, iirc

Details of the Issue:

Simply exploring the world sometimes leads to these chunk errors; they are quite inconsistent, rare, and seem to not have a preference for any particular biome, but this seems to have started after installing Terralith, so it's likely an incompatibility between Lost Cities and it.

  • Anecdotally, I was near a "Weeping Angel" from the Weeping Angels mod when it happened, but that's... probably unrelated because last time this happened, I don't think any weeping angels were around at all.

Usually, my world bricks (TPS freezes, chunks stop loading forever, but the client remains functional); this time it gave me a warning (which is the first time it's done this), and I was able to move away and TPS resumed.

Mod List:

(To CTRL+F for any mods you know about that are obviously incompatible that I didn't know about):

Mod Pack if you just wanna fly around and try to recreate the issue; again though, it's rare it seems:
