In this case, "subscription" does not mean a purchase. Instead, it is a mechanism for automatically updating keys. For example, you can create a file containing the keys (one key per line), upload it somewhere, and add a link to this file in the program. When you update the file, you can refresh the subscription in the program, and all keys will automatically be updated or added.
