Proton tricks will not run

Describe the bug
Proton installation could not be found!

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. ran protontricks form start menu of steam deck
2. selected steam app error is displayed this is my error

Protontricks was closed due to the following error:

Proton installation could not be found!

Log messages:

Running inside Flatpak sandbox, version 1.15.6.
Found Steam directory at /home/deck/.local/share/Steam
Using default Steam Runtime at /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime
WINETRICKS environment variable is not available. Searching from $PATH.
Found 1 Steam library folders
Currently logged-in Steam user: sorrowarms82
Found 1 Steam shortcuts running using Steam compatibility tools
Using 'yad' as GUI provider
User has configured app Proton version (CompatToolMapping): proton_experimental
Could not find configured Proton installation!
Active Proton installation could not be found automatically.
Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

System (please complete the following information):

• Distro: [e.g. Ubuntu 20.04, Arch Linux, ...]
• Protontricks installation method: Flatpak,
• Protontricks version: run protontricks --version to print the version
• Steam version: check if you're running Steam beta; this can be checked in Steam -> Settings -> Interface -> Client Beta Participation

Additional context

If the error happens when trying to run a Protontricks command, run the command again using the -vv flag and copy the output!

For example, if the command that causes the error is protontricks 42 faudio, run protontricks -vv 42 faudio instead and copy the output here.

If the output is very long, consider creating a gist using gist.github.com.
